What to Expect: During your facial rejuvenation session, you'll be in a private room. One of our team members will answer any questions you might have and set up the device. Clean towels will be provided. You'll sit in a comfortable, reclining chair, with optional vibration. The facial rejuvenation device will be placed over your face, and turned on. You’ll feel a mild, relaxing, warmth coming from the lights. Red light therapy sessions are up to 30 minutes Blue light therapy sessions are up to 22 minutes. Session duration and frequency can be determined on an individual basis and will depend on the desired results. What to Wear: Our facial rejuvenation sessions target the facial area exclusively. Feel comfortable wearing regular clothing during your session. Eyewear: Goggles are required for blue light therapy session Goggles are not required for red light therapy sessions. Goggles are recommended for those with light sensitivity, as this can cause eye strain. We advise against looking directly into the lights during your session. Skincare Products: While we recommend quality skin care products, as part of a healthy skincare routine, they are not recommended prior to your red light therapy or blue light therapy session. Light therapy is most effective with maximum exposure to the therapeutic light. Lotions and oils can create a barrier on the skin and affect exposure. Benefits of Red Light Therapy: Red light promotes collagen production, reduces fine lines, and wrinkles, improves skin texture, reducing inflammation, increases cellular activity, and speeds up wound healing, which is particularly beneficial for rosacea and psoriasis, and improves skin texture. Benefits of Blue Light Therapy: Targets and kills bacteria responsible for acne, reduces sebaceous hyperplasia (enlarged oil glands), and skin infections.
